Your responsibilities will include monitoring and responding to internal or external inquiries and service requests as well as receive and process purchased or returned equipment or assets.
You will track equipment inventory and deployed assets, execute processes for disposal of assets, and manage warranty and repair-related tasks.
As a member of this team, you will perform data entry in software systems or tools and audit work to ensure accuracy and completeness while managing asset store, inventory and end to end product life cycle.
Plan, schedules, implements and monitors activities required to manage and maintain the accuracy of assets, such as auditing and modifying attributes related to lifecycle management of software and hardware assets.
You will plan, manage, and move asset stock in multiple locations and ensure appropriate inventory and materials are available for orders and projects.
You will also be responsible for managing equipment installation for new locations and moves.
Resolves discrepancies.
Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
Develops specifications for new contract orders.
Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards.
Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive.
The Asset Manager position is also responsible for interfacing with the contracted printer support team and coordination of temporary labor needs.
This position will help drive the design of asset management best practices, standardization, continuous improvement, and implementation of new process flows within asset and lifecycle management.
