Provide specialized clerical support activities to the Human Services Department (HSD) and Child Support Enforcement Division (CSED) County offices.
How does it get done? The Office Clerk, General - Operational is responsible for:
Performing a variety of clerical duties to include filing and data entry; Utilizing computer software applications and operating general office equipment.
Who are the customers? Parties of child support cases; Child Support Enforcement Division (CSED) field staff, Attorneys and management.
Ideal Candidate The Ideal candidate has
Experience:
Independently performing a variety of clerical duties; Filing, typing, data entry and word processing; Utilizing computer software applications.
Minimum Qualification Eighth grade education.
Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License; Defensive Driving Certificate; Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results.
Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
