Dispatchers are the point of contact for ground/air ambulance crews and have all the information needed to make transports successful Dispatcher responsibilities include:
Receiving emergent/non-emergent calls and log significant information in the appropriate software Addressing problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions Receiving and dispatching transports for air and ground Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance Use phone and computer to effectively communicate and send air/ground crews to appropriate locations Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule Enter data in appropriate software and maintain logs and records of calls Job Type:
